Dr. Ashish Sud attended the University of Washington in Seattle Washington for his undergraduate education and National University of health Sciences in Lombard Illinois for his Doctor of chiropractic degree.  After graduating from Chiropractic school, Dr. Sud went straight to work in private practice and continues to do so at Alpha Pain & wellness centers today.Dr. Sud enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with his family.


Dr. Wajahat Akhtar
Chiropractic Physician - Clinic Director
Dr. Wajahat Akhtar acquired his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. Dr. Akhtar also has a Diplomate in Clinical Acupuncture, from the International Academy of Acupuncture. Dr. Akhtar has extensive clinical experience, in the following chiropractic techniques: Diversified, Flexion/Distraction, Thompson, and Activator. He is a proud member of Alpha family, and is believes in the Alpha Approach!

Dr. Rizwan Aryan
Pain Management Physician
Dr. Arayan uses a multi-disciplinary approach to treat injury and pain to maximize a patient’s potential and quality of life. Dr. Arayan will direct your treatment and collaborate with other health care professionals at Alpha to design a program for you.

Dr. Arayan attended the University of Illinois at Champaign and obtained his bachelors degree in biology. He then went on to Ross University School of Medicine for his medical degree. He completed his training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital/University of Chicago program. He subsequently went on to complete a sports medicine and electromyography (EMG) fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.


Dr. Shermi Parikh-Patel
Podiatrist
Dr. Parikh is a board cerified podiatric physician. She has been in practice for 8 years and treats all aspects of foot and ankle pain. Dr.Parikh does try to resolve pain using physical therapy,orthotics devices, and other non-surgical treatment options. She also performs surgery, but does this if conservative treatment fails. Dr.Parikh is a friendly, compassionate physican who takes the time to answer any questions a patient may have. She is also fluent in Spanish.


Dr. Nathan Ruof
Chiropractor
Dr. Ruof was raised in Western New York where he received a Bachelor's of Science degree from Canisius College. He then moved to Illinois and attended National University of Health Sciences where he graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Ruof has studied McKenzie Therapy, is certified in Acupuncture, and is a Cox Flexion-Distraction Practitioner. In his spare time Dr. Ruof is a sports and automotive enthusiast.


Dr. Baljinder Bathla
Board Certified in Pain Management
Dr. Bathla brings with him a unique skill set, he is one of the few anesthesia pain fellowship trained pain physicians in the country with a background in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. After attending Wright State University School of Medicine in his hometown of Dayton, Ohio; Dr. Bathla completed his training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital/University of Chicago. He then went on to complete an interventional pain medicine fellowship at the University of Chicago in the Department of Anesthesia.

Dr. Bathla is Board Certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Pain Medicine. After completing his training at the University of Chicago, he continued at the University as an attending physician where he today continues to have clinic and teach residents and fellows as a clinical associate.


Nikki Beck
Director of Physical Therapy
Dr. Nikki Beck is the Director of Physical Therapy at Alpha Pain and Wellness. She attended, The University of Southern California, for her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Kinesiology degree. Dr. Beck is holds a variety of certifications, including Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy from the McKenzi Institute.

Dr. Beck has over ten years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics. She has helped diagnose, and rehabilitated various neuromusculoskeletal conditions. She has extensive clinical experience in spinal and extremity rehabilitation, neural dysfunctions, pre and post-operative management, and return to work programs. Her treatment programs focus on evidence based techniques, patient education and functional outcomes.
